Accessing healthcare in a new country can feel exceedingly overwhelming. Newcomers often face barriers such as language, technology, transportation, and navigating unfamiliar systems that prevent them from receiving the appropriate healthcare they need and deserve. At the same time, many new arrivals carry physical and mental health challenges stemming from trauma and the arduous journeys they have endured to reach safety. Our Healthcare Navigation Program supports newcomer immigrants and refugees by removing barriers and walking alongside families as they learn to navigate the U.S. healthcare system. We provide culturally responsive, compassionate support so every client feels empowered to get the medical care they need to stay healthy and thrive. Services include:
